HubSpot for Nonprofits
The HubSpot Partner Built for Mission-Driven Organizations
Tapp Network helps nonprofits unlock the full power of HubSpot — connecting your CRM, fundraising, marketing, and website into one system that grows with your mission.
What HubSpot Implementation Actually Means
HubSpot isn't just a CRM or an email tool — it's the operational backbone for mission-driven organizations. Done right, it connects your fundraising, marketing, programs, and reporting into one system your whole team can actually use.
At Tapp, we don't just configure HubSpot. We design growth systems built around how your organization works — aligning your technology to your mission, not the other way around.
Our North Star
Our Guiding Principles
Every HubSpot engagement at Tapp is built on these four commitments:
Strategy Before Tools:
We define your goals, processes, and constraints before ever opening HubSpot.
Adoption Over Complexity:
The best HubSpot build is one your team will actually use.
Systems Over Tactics:
We think in data flow, lifecycle, and automation — not isolated wins.
Long-Term Partnership:
We stay embedded in your growth — not just at launch, but for the long run.
These principles shape every recommendation we make, every configuration we build, and every training session we lead — so your investment in HubSpot becomes a direct investment in your mission's capacity to grow.
How We Work
Discovery and Data Audit
We assess your source system, document what exists, and identify risks before anything moves. This includes reviewing data volume, completeness, field consistency, and mapping every object to its HubSpot equivalent — captured in a data mapping matrix that becomes the source of truth for the entire project.
Data Mapping
Every field from your source system is matched to its HubSpot equivalent. We create all necessary custom properties in HubSpot before any import begins — one of the most common mistakes in DIY migrations is skipping this step and discovering missing fields mid-import.
Test Migration
Before touching the full dataset, we migrate a small representative sample and review it for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. This is where format mismatches — dates, phone numbers, picklist values — are caught and corrected before they become a full-scale problem.
Full Migration
We execute the full data migration against the validated mapping with a rollback plan in place. If something goes wrong after go-live — records merged incorrectly, properties overwritten — there is a defined path back. Most teams don't have one until they need it.
Delta Migration
We capture the gap between your initial export and your go-live date and bring that data in cleanly. Any records created or updated in your old system during the migration window are accounted for — so nothing is left behind at launch.
Validation and Handoff
We confirm the data in HubSpot matches your source, document what was migrated and what was intentionally out of scope, and give your team what they need to maintain data quality going forward — including role-based training and a defined support path post-launch.
Who We Serve
Tapp's HubSpot implementation services are purpose-built for nonprofits and mission-driven organizations at every stage of growth.
Nonprofits Ready to Scale Impact
Organizations with $500K–$10M+ in revenue that are outgrowing spreadsheets and need a connected system for fundraising, marketing, and programs.
Development Teams Without the Right Tools
Development teams managing donors in spreadsheets or legacy CRMs who need pipeline management and stewardship automation built for fundraising.
Organizations Leaving Legacy Platforms
Nonprofits migrating from Bloomerang, Raiser's Edge, or Salesforce who want to consolidate into one modern, connected system.
Marketing Teams Starting Fresh
Communications and marketing teams ready to build a real email program, launch campaigns, and properly segment their audience — but need the right foundation first.
Leaders Who Need Real Reporting
Executive directors and boards who need dashboards showing donor retention, campaign ROI, and mission impact — not disconnected spreadsheet reports.
HubSpot Works Best as a Complete System
Our implementation services are designed to work together — from CRM to marketing to website, each piece strengthens the others.
Data & CRM Migration
Move your existing donor records, email lists, contact properties, and assets into HubSpot cleanly — mapping fields, cleaning data, and ensuring nothing is lost in the transition from your old platform.
Custom Integrations
Connect HubSpot to the platforms your organization already uses — donation tools like Givebutter and Stripe, event platforms like Eventbrite, and accounting systems — so your data flows cleanly without manual exports.
Strategic Ongoing Support
Stay connected to a dedicated HubSpot partner after launch. Our retainer relationships cover ongoing configuration, training requests, reporting builds, and strategic guidance — so your HubSpot keeps growing with your organization.
Questions We Often Hear
Most implementations run 6–16 weeks depending on scope. Foundation Setup is 6–8 weeks. Growth Accelerator is 8–12 weeks. Enterprise Transformation runs 12–16 weeks. We always start with a discovery phase to make sure we have a shared understanding of your goals before we begin.
Yes — and it's one of the most common ways we start. We begin with a HubSpot Audit ($1,500–$5,000 depending on complexity) to assess your current setup, identify gaps, and build a prioritized roadmap. Many of our strongest retainer relationships started as audits.
Not necessarily. We can integrate your existing platform — Givebutter, Bloomerang, Little Green Light, and others — so your donor data flows into HubSpot without manual exports. That said, HubSpot with Commerce Hub can fully replace most donor management systems, and many nonprofits find consolidating saves both time and cost.
We handle the heavy lifting, but your team's involvement in discovery makes a real difference. We need access to a key stakeholder — usually the ED, development director, or marketing lead — for 2–4 hours during discovery and for feedback sessions. Training is role-based so we only pull in the people who need it.
Every client moves into a retainer relationship after implementation. Our Essential retainer ($1,299/mo for nonprofits) covers ongoing support, training requests, and technical escalation. We're not a project shop — we stay embedded in your growth for the long run.
Yes. HubSpot's Commerce Hub combined with Sales Hub can manage one-time and recurring donations, gift cultivation pipelines, donor acknowledgment workflows, and board-level reporting — eliminating the need for a separate donor management system. We've built this out for multiple nonprofit clients, including a high-volume call center donation processing solution for Family Radio.
