The Buyer's Journey

Awareness

Your prospect is experiencing and expressing symptoms of a problem or opportunity. They're doing educational research to more clearly understand, frame, and give a name to the problem. At this stage, they're likely browsing blogs and the web, and paying more close attention to what their friends and other thought leaders are posting on social media. 

Consideration

Your prospect has now clearly defined and given a name to the problem or opportunity. They're committed to researching and understanding all of the available approaches and methods to solving. At this point, they'll be searching the internet for some possible solutions - filling out forms, doing some comparison, and getting more educated.

Decision

The prospect has now decided on a solution strategy, method or approach. Now they'll be compiling a long list of all available vendors and services providers. They'll be heavily researching to pair down to a short list and make a final decision. At this stage, it's imperative to nurture and engage with specifics to the prospect through email, automation, social, and advocates.

Attract

Getting new, relevant visitors and prospects

Attracting is something which many digital marketing agencies have become quite good at, but few excel at driving that attracted visitor through the rest of the funnel.
